Yes, there are some requirements for being an air hostess like minimum height and physical fitness which is important and varies from flight to flight. An average height for this profession is 5 ft or more.
After submitting your application you need to wait for the phone call from the airlines. After that, your training programs will start. The training is from 2 weeks to 3 months. They will test your physical fitness and will teach you what safety precautions you have to take being a flight attendant. Once you will know how to deal with things you will manage everything yourself.
